For those who are looking for a unique, poolside getaway that is bursting with art, exotic fruits and sunshine, you absolutely have to checkout the Bohemian Yome at Eden East! Although located in El Cajon, this truly feels like you've been transported to Belize or some other exotic location.
The Yome itself can accommodate 3 adults comfortably, with a queen size bed and a twin size futon that pulls out. The décor is detail-rich, making it a great spot to lounge in for hours. There is both a fan and heater to help keep you feeling extra cozy during your stay. The Yome is situated away from the rest of the property, giving you an intimate and isolated experience.
There is a community bathroom which is outdoors (who doesn't love an outdoor shower?) and is surrounded by exotic plants and colorful artwork. In fact, the entire property is covered with exotic plants and colorful artwork. It is truly a work of art within itself!
Their dedication to gardening is a thing of itself, and if you are into exotic fruits like I am, this will most likely be a thrilling place for you to visit. Their property is brimming with exotic fruit varieties! A few I can remember are an ice cream bean tree, black sapote, multiple varieties of dragon fruit, multiple varieties of cherries, gooseberry and a TON more! They truly have a passion for this and will hopefully be opening a nursery one day. If you are interested in getting a tour of their garden, which is all over their property, just shoot them a message when you book!
The energy of the property is extremely positive and I can guarantee you will feel re-charged and inspired after your stay. I definitely left feeling deeply motivated to garden even more at my house and to keep creating more art!
The pool area is soooo beautiful!
