Nestled inside a business park and within minutes of both the 5 freeway and the beach sits this (not so little) gem of a restaurant. Joya Organic Kitchen is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat with the entire family (and pup), enjoy delicious, farm-fresh food, relish in the beautiful views and then be onto your commute instantly!
To me, part of what makes Joya Organic Kitchen unique from all the other restaurants in La Jolla is how far removed it is from the hustle and bustle of the town. As gorgeous as La Jolla is, the bumper to bumper traffic can be a huge turn-off. That’s why it’s nice to have healthy eating options that are in calmer areas, but still en route to your destination.
Joya Organic Kitchen is over 36,000 sq. feet and offers a variety of versatile indoor and outdoor space. Not only is it a restaurant and bar, but it can also be used for private events such as weddings, birthdays or corporate events.

Their menu is prepared in collaboration with chefs Jojo Ruiz and Ryan Bullock. They offer a diverse selection of delicious, organic dining options with ingredients that are in season. They even have a full bar! The menu is large and guaranteed to have something for everyone. While here I learned that the cows that are used for their hamburgers are actually only fed carrots their entire lives. This is a fairly new option on the market of gourmet, high-quality beef. I found that to be pretty incredible.

Joya Organic Kitchen is truly a gathering space for the entire family and a great place to meet up with friends while the kids stay entertained. There is a large lawn perfect for running around and getting energy out as well as a variety of games which include corn hole, foosball, ping pong and Jenga. Get ready for the fun!
