Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

The San Diego Peace Garden, located in City Heights, brings people of all backgrounds together by growing food in the San Diego area for the local community.
The mission of the garden is to teach people how to grow fresh and healthy food in a sustainable way. The garden is positioned on a property with 4 other non-profits which all strive for environmental sustainability. They property also holds a state-of-the-art straw-bale structure with passive heating and cooling, a large capacity for rainwater-harvesting and an edible orchard and garden.
All of this is made possible by forward-thinking volunteers who strive to teach sustainable gardening while growing an abundance of food which is largely donated to those who need and cannot afford it.
If you are inspired and want to be a volunteer gardener, you can contact them at [email protected]
