Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

Hike:Â There are many trails that go throughout many towns through this trailhead
Level:Easy but you can go for many hours if you want
Dog-Friendly: Yes   Kid-Friendly: Yes
Perhaps I am biased because I grew up across the street from this canyon in Serra Mesa. After visiting Sandrock Canyon again as an adult, I am still convinced that it is special.
The canyon is maintained with love and filled with beautiful plants and flowers that are not usually seen in a San Diego canyon. Â Like any hike, the best time to explore is springtime when all the flowers are blooming!

Is this the canyon by Kobe Drive? We grew up on Chauncey Dr.

I have told the city about the first broken pipe but I don’t know about the second. It’s a disaster waiting to happen
