A Quiet Place is different from any other healing spa I have visited.  Not knocking the rest, but what really sets this spot apart from the others is how invested the owner, Richard, is with his customers.

When I came here for my first float I had only been driving again for only 1 week and was still working to get my nervous system and neurological shakes down.  I was in the earliest stages of recovering from an injury from a chiropractor that left me bedridden for 2 months (more on this topic in full another day).

I did my research on what float spas were in my area and decided on this spot in San Marcos due to it having multiple healing amenities and being the best price around.  I had already learned a week before this that floating for an hour in a salt tank would completely eliminate the shakes I was dealing with, at least temporarily, but it was improving with each session. ..

When I came into Richard's spa it was hard for me to talk to him due to my injury and at one point I apologized and explained I was in the earliest stages of healing. Once I explained that a chiropractor had shot me in the medulla with a punch gun, leaving me with stroke-like symptoms he become extremely interested in helping.

I have learned so much about various forms of healing the body since visiting him weekly, far beyond just floating in the tank.  He has been a key part in my healing journey and I cannot thank him enough.  Beyond my own experience, this is a very tranquil spa, hence the name A Quiet Place.

Floatation Therapy:
