Bluebird Play was SUCH a great find for me! This is a toddler-friendly space created out of a deep love of children’s literature, storytelling, and the desire to create a safe, welcoming place for both crawlers and early learners. What I love so much about this space is that admission covers access ALL day, and you can come and go as often as you want all day.

The custom-built space was designed with both grownups and the tots in mind. Grown-ups must stay in the room, but they have the coziest couches to relax on. Read a book, get work done or socialize with other parents while watching the children have a blast!

Whether your child is crawling, climbing, pretending, or simply taking it all in, there’s room here for open-ended exploration and joyful discovery. It’s a very free-spirited space with lots of giggling and running around from one play station to the next! Bonus points for being one block from the ocean and also surrounding by great restaurants and shops.

Beyond being an incredible play space, they also host author visits, neighborhood pop-ups, craft markets and are great for private events such as birthday parties! No reservation is needed, although it’s good to check their calendar to make sure no private event is being hosted that day.

Rules

Entry is first-come, first-serve and tickets are available in-store only

For safety, they limit the play floor to 25 children at a time

If they reach capacity, they may ask families to limit their play session so everyone gets a chance to enjoy the space

They occasionally host special events during regular hours. Please check their homepage or social media for their weekly schedule and any closures.
