Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!
Keys Creek Lavender Farm is such a beautiful destination in the backhills of Valley Center. The drive alone makes this trip worth it. Their farm has more than two dozen varieties of lavender on over 8 acres of land. They have a gift shop, offer classes and workshops, as well as demonstrations of how they distill our own essential oils in their distillery.
They are open to the public during the harvest season May & June and by appointment only during off-season July-April. They also have an Airbnb you can stay at. I have not stayed here yet but hopefully one day!
The lovely owner:
They have an adorable boutique with lavender-infused beauty products, honey and even lavender lemonade for purchase!
