Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

Located just off the Pacific Crest Trail lays an easy but breath-taking hike known as Foster Point! If you want to get a full-bodied Mt. Laguna experience without exploring all day, then this is the hike for you!
This area has sadly been affected by a recent wildfire with evidence of such surrounding you, but as the cycle of nature goes, there is also regrowth all around. Within no time though you will be greeted with views that span across the Anza Borrego Desert and other peaks nearby such as Monument Peak. When you get to the end of the trail you will see a peak identifier installed by the Sierra Club.
We did this hike after camping in Alter Experience’s Tree Tents. That is quite an experience in itself! This hike is quick and easy and an instant refreshment the second you come across those views. It is quite humbling to experience such vastness!
This is a very easy-to-miss trailhead. There is no marker so you really have to just go by coordinates and now this photo to match up. It is right across the street from Horse Heaven Campground though, so that helps a bit!
At one point you’ll hit a fork in the road. Stick to the right! Eventually you’ll come across this sign letting you know you’ve gone the correct way:
First sneak peek of what’s to come!
