For those that either can’t get a pet-sitter for a trip or just really love bringing their pup along for the adventure, this trip is for you! This adventure will take you to many historical spots including up and over several mountains! Get ready for hiking, shopping and lounging! To me a great adventure has it all mixed in. This is a jam-packed 3 day trip that will leave you over-flowing with memories and great pictures!
Best time to take this trip:
Late spring or early Fall (to avoid snow closure or extreme heat temperatures)
Hike Levels:
All hikes are in the easy to moderate range
Kid-Friendly:
Yes, but be mindful that a decent amount of hiking is involved which young kids may not like.

About Our Road Trips:
A huge part of Hidden San Diego and Hidden California are the amazing road trips we go on in order to gather content. The trips are always meticulously planned out in order to pack the most fun into one excursion while also to never be driving too long. So usually every 2-3 hours you will make a stop at a new spot.
These road trips that we have created are not only affordable but already completely planned out for you which will save you a TON of time and research. Every spot we have been to ourselves so you will get a ton of info about each place you are visiting. We have even given breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions, gas stations along the way and sleep suggestions (each night will have a suggestion for primitive/free camping, regular camping or an actual hotel/AirBnb).
I know that planning a road trip can be very overwhelming and takes a ridiculous amount of time to put together. It’s something I’ve always loved doing though and have compiled over a decade’s worth of content while building my brand.
