We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. About Wild Wonders
Wild Wonders is one of San Diego County’s true hidden gems. Tucked away in a lush green neighborhood in the quaint town of Bonsall lays a 5 acre wildlife sanctuary with over 100 animal ambassadors from all over the world.
Each animal comes with its own story, whether it was once someone’s illegal pet, has disabilities or other non-releasable issues. 
Wild Wonders offers many great opportunities to visit their animals such as private tours, field trips, birthdays and camps. You can see a list of all their tours and experiences here.
We took one of their private tours of the facility which gave us the opportunity to have many up-close encounters with adorable creatures.
We even had lunch on their cheetah deck! 
The property and surrounding area in itself is so beautiful. We came during springtime when everything was lush, green and blooming. It was fantastic!
Their “Behind the Scenes” tour will introduce you to animals from all over the world that are age-appropriate to your group. If you’d like to meet specific animals though make sure to make that request before your visit.
They also host special events during the year such as Zoo Camp, Winter Wonders and Boo at the Zoo. All of their programs are hosted by a professional zoo keeper/educator.

Their goal is to get the public excited about wildlife which in turn will fuel us to help protect it. By educating us we learn about the important roles they play in the planet. 
They also have a cute gift shop with stickers, magnets, shirts and even artwork made by the animals!
