Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

The Vista Conservancy Trail was a really fun spot for us to stumble upon.  I had been eyeing the lush oaks every time we visited Brengle Terrace Park across the street and one day asked if we could take a better look at it because I thought there was a trail behind the trees.  Sure enough there was and boy is it beautiful!

This Vista trail blew our minds the entire hike.  So much lushness in these woods, which takes you right along a creek. There are bridges and dams to find along the way and plenty of shade making this a great hike all year long.

Turns out the Vista Conservancy is responsible for this trail and helping to preserve the area.  It looks like the trail will be added to in phases which means there's reasons to keep returning again and again!  Make sure to visit Alta Vista Gardens which is across the street while you're out here too!

About the Vista Conservancy: As a non-profit and tax-exempt organization, the Vista Conservancy is capable of receiving environmentally sensitive lands for protection and long-term preservation.

While you're in the area, make sure to visit the Yellow Deli nearby!

The Conservancy was formed to acquire, protect and manage the natural resources in a manner beneficial for the current and future community inhabitants.

After all, the original community of Vista was formed around streams, ponds, creeks, and open space. These characteristics have helped form the character of the community and we hope to keep that rural character intact.  Learn how to support them here.

Please note that you will be alongside houses on one side, the creek and then a pretty busy street on the other side almost the entire time:
