Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

Carlsbad has an extremely photogenic coastline with a few tiny caves to add some foreground to your photographs. Although the caves (more like overhangs) are not nearly as impressive as La Jolla’s or Sunset Cliffs, it’s definitely worth a day trip!
We originally visited Cerezo Bluffs in search of a cave called Sarah’s Cavern. I’m not positive we found it but it did look similar to the photos we saw online! Please note, the cliffs are unstable and there has been a collapse killing several people since we visited this spot. Regardless, you can still appreciate nature’s beauty from a safe distance.
A mighty sinkhole/”cave”. Please don’t climb up there! That thing could collapse at any moment!
Mother Nature is truly the best abstract artist!
Is this Sarah’s Cavern?

You realize that the bluffs have recently killed multiple people in Encinitas and that you’re encouraging people to put their lives in danger?
